would this work?
1. fit a uk tailgate
2. remove external fog light
3 take the wiring from the external fog light and feed it into the uk fog lights
or are there some other complications?

How about..
Remove external Foglight.
Wire switch to the tailgate brake lights.
Still leaves you with 1 x high level brake light and 2 outer wing brake lights :)
Job done /yes

i may be swapping the tailgate anyway and having the spoiler sprayed to match it
dont the fogs have to have different lenses to brake lights? i know both are 21 watt but i thought it was the lens that made the brake lights brighter

so why do they stick an ugly thing on the back bumper instead of just doing the job properly?

what about the switch? it is a big hassle to fit uk switches ie front above the rear on the dashboard?

Mines on the same switch that was added when the fog light on the bumper was fitted.

i would rather have the interior as it is in the V6. especially as i am swapping my interior into the VR4 including the boot floor if i can. im not keen on the all in one set up so i am hoping the 3 way boot floor will fit. much of the exterior will be going over too
