No brake lights no reverse light, HELP

Hi everyone, yesterday on my way back from NW meet, Barry txt me that I got no breke and reverse lights :uhoh:

Don't know how long I drive a car without brake lights, I not do any jobs electric related on my car recently.

So far I check bulbs, fuses, brake switch and all seems fine, the problem is, that is all what I know and got no idea what's happen and what to do/check next.

You actually did all you can do, so just double check it :)
Fuse for the brake lamp is in the cabin, top row, second from left (7. from right)

Reverse light sorted now, faulty switch in gbox, just fighting with stop lights now, bulbs looks fine but I pop in shop for new ones, hope this sort out my issues. My little one got promised to go on safari today so it must be fixed ASAP

Just measure on the socket with bulb out and brake pedal depressed. It should give 12V. If no voltage, don't bother new bulbs

Poor earth at switch or lights?

If the earth was poor, the rear repeaters will be off too, as they use the same ground point

Could be worth checking the connection up by the brake peddle ?

spot light fuse, in the engine bay. dunno why there related... they just are for some strange reason.

All working now, somehow brake switch was sit too close to brake pedal and while pressing brakes, switch not engaging stop lights, easy fix but now im a bit paranoid and checking lights every time.
