hi again im fitting an evo 8 rear diff tomorrow (hopefully) just been reading about spacers i didnt know i needed? so does anyone know ehat spacers i need and where they go?

also is there a write up anywhere?

All you need to do is take the prop shaft flange off your VR4 diff & fit to the new Evo one. No spacers or anything else should be needed but sure someone will be along to confirm soon

What Chris said above, but I would advise fitting spacers to allow the diff to sit at the right angle. You need to add about 10mm to the rear lugs of the diff, where the 22mm head bolts fit into after slotting through the rear subframe. The lugs are about 10mm shorter on the SAYC diff, so without spacers the diff will pivot backwards at the top as it is tightened up.
