Apologies on my behalf, i've found myself too involved with 10th Event organising that i have been slacking on the membership packs, I have however requested the new members cards to be printed but not yet sent renewals. :thumbsdow

The cards where sent out to you on Tuesday after I had added the extra card. They where sent by royal mail which might explain the delay but I would have thought the cards would have been with you by know. If the cards don't turn up tomorrow morning could you let me know and I will reprint the cards and get them sent out to you tomorrow using the royal mail special delivery service which is a guarantied next day delivery by 12am. Sorry about this.

Quick update.

I am still awaiting the new membership cards to arrive, delay is on our side, before I went on holiday i received an invoice to pay for the next batch of cards (they need to be paid upfront) - payment of this invoice should be confirmed in the next day or two and then the cards will be printed and sent out.

Well, you DO have membership, since you are blue, and you have access to all the technical articles and membership discounts. /yes

I'm sure Barry will sort out a replacement pack soon enough. Please remember that we all volunteer to do this out of our own time - time that is often limited due to work, family, etc.

I know and I fully appreciate that I feel I have been pretty patient I paid in may! We all have busy lives but sometimes a quick note is all it takes but hey that's my opinion.

Your pack was sent out and should have arrived with you already - It seems a couple were lost in the last batch sent out, as a mark of sincerity I will order new cards and resend.

I have to put my hand up and apologise for not keeping ontop of membership packs recently, I have been very busy both bringing 4G (I work on the EE contract) to the UK and taking over baby shift (Aimee is 3 months old) when arriving home, usually not getting to bed till around 1am.

I have some days leave scheduled in the lead up to xmas, so i will endevour to get up-to-date with the packs..

Firstly sorry for delay, things been a bit mental recently.

I have now processed, packaged and will pop to the post office with all renewals that were outstanding.

All new members require a new card, tomorrow I will process them and request the cards from our suppliers.

As a side note we are really low on keyrings so I'm going to order some new ones, hopefully they will arrive at the same time as the membership cards - if not i will wait till both are in my possession before shipping.

To the guys above who have not received packs after I sent them, I will resend another pack to you.

Ok, I have gone a little raio silent on this, i'm sorry.

However, I have been putting of doing anything until our new keyrings arrived - These were ordered on the 3rd of January, due to issues with our suppliers supplier he did not have the leather fogs to complete them, these arrived at our suppliers last week and this morning i received an emails stating our keyrings have been dispatched and on their way.

I have mostly all packs ready and waiting and they will be dispatched withing a day or two of receiving the keyrings.

I'm sorry this has taken such a long time!

As for the other prizes, I'll speak to Barry and get on it. I can't do anything about the membership stuff though, as Barry will have to sort out any discrepancies.

Please can I point out the following:-

Firstly the club is looked after by volunteers

Everyone that helps out has a busy life

Now I understand that this is no excuse & I do agree to a certain degree what is being said & all comments are very fair ones

We had Nick mann doing events Etc but being busy as he is he stepped down

Jane was doing the membership side of it & too stepped down

Barry BraindG has taking up the events side & the membership's

He has a full time job plus his photography plus his family & try's his very best to juggle all this

We are now discussing this to see what can be done !

So please accept the clubs apologies & we will see what can be resolved as soon as we can

Regarding the packs, to do the packs is a very time consuming job - I have few opportunities during the week to dedicate time to this role, I currently working a lot to make ends meet and time away from both my jobs is generally spent with my wife and kids - even the VR4 is falling apart as I have no time to fix it :(

rest assured that steps are being taken to off load this role to someone with more time, I'm sorry for letting you all down.

BraindG, IMO you're not letting anyone down chap.

TBH the club is ticking along quite nicely. We all have commitments to work, family and keeping all our old girls going (I mean the cars!) so we all understand how it is.

I'm not particularly fussed about my renewal pack. I had my first one when I was a new paid member and I don't mind buying the stickers/keyrings and such through the club.
