Anyone able to identify these ?

Whilst doing the brakes yesterday I finally cleaned the shocks as I'd wanted to see the label on them for a while, anyone seen these before ? Google suggests they are a common upgrade on japanese cars but i've never heard of them before

these are Kayaba aftermarket shocks. IIRC these are replacement fo worn OE parts, not performance parts.
