Quick one... (He says knowing full well its gonna take years to put into action!)

Right I a dvd player head unit wired up to the display screens in the head rest.
Now legally, as they currently are the whole dvd system will not display pics without the Handbrake applied.
Is their anyway that I could, get the pics to display in the rear screens whilst the handbrake is not applied?

no (unless you head unit has separate out puts for multiple video) as this is controlled from the head unit, just put a switch on it so you pass your mot, but then just flick all the screens on for normal use. (just cut the line that detects handbrake on, and ground it this keeps the tvs on)

It wouldn't be an MoT testable item here anyway, AFAIK. The wire that goes from the head unit to the handbrake just needs grounding (or putting to the switched live, whichever way round it is!).
