I am trying really hard to find some Jacobs Krönung in NZ and don't seem to be able to find it anywhere! Man, Douwer Egberts and their "Moccona kiss" seem to have really cornered the market here.

The only Jacobs I've been able to find online is from the South African shops and I'm not going to be paying $24 for a 100g container which is another variety and not the Krönung that I'm after. Has anyone seen it?

Not sure if it's much help to you in NZ, but there's lots of it for sale on amazon.co.uk

Ja those are beans unfortunately - I am after the instant stuff, I don't have the gear for making coffee coffees.

Amazon? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00469TSNG/ref=asc_df_B00469TSNG2088305?tag=thefind0099684-20&creative=395261&creativeASIN=B00469TSNG&linkCode=asn

I've never tried Kronung, but I use Jacobs Monarch all the time.

Ja, I used .co.uk first but nothing... Same on Amazon, well they have instant but it's still prohibitively expensive. The Krönung is well worth it for an instant brew.

The proper espresso machines don't cost all that much - although you can end up spending silly money for them.

Heh, too much effort mate, I'm not after espresso or any of that carry on... Simply after something that I can dump in a cup, sort out, be done with and still taste grand.

Call me a snob ( :P ), but I can't stand instant anymore after using my parents' proper cafe espresso machines and my one at home. The taste is a lot better, although more cleaning up and effort. :P
