thank you again Nick
just want to confirm thats JUST a solenoid problem, can't trust any mechanic today.
3 mechanics:
1) eletrical problem
2) speed sensor or solenoid
3) clucth problem
could you please indicate where are the solenoids on in grafic?
and if it is generic for another mitsubishi cars too

The solenoids are just inside the gearbox sump. I have no idea if they are the same in other mitsys but I would be quite suprised if they are specific to our boxes.

We had those fault codes on Keith's box but they were due to a faulty loom. The solenoids are common to a few models and we picked up a few in the States at a good price
