Some people have the same problem as i have, but i could'nt find a good solution on the forum.

The black intake elbow (with the 2 nipples on it) keeps getting lose from the intakemanifold.

Today it popped of twice on 1 little journy. I keep having this problem the most in the summer when its hot.

Is there someone that knows if there is an aloy pipe available (with 2 nipples on it) to replace the stock intake elbow? Or a silicone one with nipples?

Cheers Mark

Just get any alloy 70mm ID pipe, do TIG welding with two 6mm OD as outlets, join to manifold with 135 degree silicone elbow, and use Mikalor clamps. Simples.

if it's just the rubber that is worn and causing the pipe to blow off, you can use a bit of silicone hose. Just get a straight hose the correct diameter to be a tight fit over the throttle body, and cut it to about 2cm long, fit it over the throttle body and then fit the black elbow pipe over the silicone, then use a mikalor or good clamp to tighten it up. :)

If you dont have the standard air box you could also try replacing it with a straighter pipe where the bends arent so sharp, the idea being that the airflow will be smoother.
