Hi guys thought id ask my 1st question on my elusive search for a Legnum ha I know its a very random question but has anyone slept in the back of a Legnum?? Reason being me and the girlfriend been talking about driving round europe in a few months. Now the conversation has somehow gone the way of buying a campervan of some kind....which you can imagine...im against but i foolishly said we can sleep in the back of a Legnum haha Anyone actually done this? Im not a cheapskate i will be getting hotels etc...just in case we dont make a hotel tho haha

i havent done it but i have tried it for size and i can lie flat out (im 6 foot) with the seats down. i wouldnt want to leave the rear strut brace in there though

Ive done it a few times and found it very comfy with a blow up single mattress.

Same here, slept many times, single flocked mattress and is feel nearly like at home /lol , as mentioned b4, it will be more difficult with rear strut brace.

Even I (2.01m) can fit in it and have done so. Add a bit of (air) mattress and your good to go! However; don't forget you'll have luggage too which you probably will have to transfer to the front seats, but those can ofcourse only stow so much.

Done it a couple times myself. Had a thick duvet which I placed down and folded over to give a little cushioning for sleeping. Plenty comfortable, and like others have said, if you have a strut brace in the back, get it out as hitting your head on that is not fun! There is over 2m of clearance from the inside of the tailgate and the back of the front seats, but push the seats forward and it'll give you more space.

The windows are tinted too so ideal for that.

Had great thoughts of travelling and sleeping but then showed film Easy Rider to missus and scared the idea out of her!

I don't see it being comfortable for 2 unless your skinny. Especially if you move around a bit

If your thinking of touring and getting the VR4 then it will be costly on fuel but great fun James, whats your location?

I've had 2 sleeping in the back of my legnum at the snow heaps of times. There is definitely enough room for 2 with no problems of space
