Arrgh! On Power Graunching

Hey guys

My car is making a kind of graunching :sad3: noise when I put the pedal down - when there is the most momentum change (from stand still or gunning it from fairly slow).
I can feel it as well as hear it - maybe on the drivetrain somewhere or AT and its between groaning and clunking... most of the time short quick 2 or 3 (grrclkclk).
My Trans has plenty of fluid and had its regular flushes...

Just wondering whether anyone had experienced anything similar or had any ideas for me to look into...

Thanks - I possibly am up for an oil change on the AYC but Trans was done about 5000 km ago...

I have solved it! been in to the local mitsi dealer -

I have Broken Engine Mounts! The noise is the back of the engine clunking on the chassis, or something like that!
