remove restriction when installing EBC?

I'm busy with installing my apexi avc-r
Can someone tell me if i need to remove the restriction that is in the hosing at the boostsolenoid/wastegate? (So install the new hosing without the restriction)

Yes, you should take it out or replace the hoses if running an EBC, but when using the standard solenoid removing it has been logged and proven to have a detrimental effect to the boost curve.
