how are they quality wise, and do they do as they claim? any issues with them

I've got a set of the vr4 ones, but haven't run them yet. Adam has I think.

yeah i have the exact same ones (although if memory serves i bought them from a different trademe user)
they work fine even with the increased clearances of the cam grind. jeremy at evo parts rates them too which is why i decided on them.

It's probably worth mentioning that the new ones WILL make a lot of noise for a start.

yes my car sounder like the charriot from hell on first startup. until the air bled out.
i prefer not to bleed the lifters manually as if you overfill them they could hold a valve open

So how long until they quieten down more or less? Scott, are you going to be doing anything with your set of lifters?

Yeah, I'm putting a VR4 engine back together for mine with new seals etc and the cams. I have some ported heads that only need a wee bit more work on them though that I could sell ;)

Woops didn't read that, just skimmed through at work. Mine will go in when my radiators done shortly so ill let you guys know how the lifters go.
