The only one I knew of is Kenneth, who's now down in Cambridge.

Yeah I knew Kenneth did it, and knew he was in Cambridge, so was hoping someone in Aucks did it

I was thinking of buying an OP 2.0 in the new year, but I don't know much about the tuning - I'd have to learn first before I messed with anyone else's car.

You could kindly ask kenneth if he'll come up and do it? Tempt him with beer?

Yeah, if no one does we'll be buying our own. As we want the twin TD05s we're working on going by Xmas. Old ECU is a plastic box but we did a manual conversion. Have a manual metal box ECU in at the moment but want to do a few other things to the plastic box as well as so it can run the manual.

Might be a bit of a travel for old Kenneth to come up just to flash one ;) Though he might like to see his bumper how it is now.

I've got to say that you did a really good job on my old car.

I am usually in Auckland one night a week. A simple ECU flash is no problem, tuning takes a bit more time (also depends on what you want tuned).

I don't have the gear to flash the metal cased ECUs though :(

Let me know when you're up next. It's fine, it's a plastic box, prob best to talk to Paul about what he wants but the main thing is so we can use it with the manual conversion.

You shouldn't need to re-flash the ECU for it to work after manual conversion.

Ok Paul thought we did for some reason. Talked to him and yeah he wants to tune it

Just to point out that that is Cambridge in New Zealand, not the UK. ;)

You shouldn't need to re-flash the ECU for it to work after manual conversion.

It can get rid of some error codes though.
