Could anyone help please. I need to get a price for shipping a type-s rear diff but not going to be able to get to it for a measure up any time soon. I don't suppose anyone has one kicking about or a record of sending one so I can find out the size & weight?

Thanks :)

I have a spare in the shed,
i can weigh it when i get in from work tonight.

But i would imagine you will only be able to ship it on a small pallet due to weight.
I would estimate it to be 25-30kg
but i will let you know tonight.

I shipped one a while back - I can't remember what it cost though! It was too heavy to get a good cheap quote. I'd guess at about £40?

Thanks for your help guys. I am getting quotes of £125 off the couriers I use regularly but have found some cheaper sites. Still more than I would have thought but the interested person is in Finland to be fair. Hope they are stilling down when they read the price :rolleyes3

If going to Finland I would have thought a half pallet would be required for that, you can get them all over the place, any trading estate, just have a look in the skips and waste bins they are always being thrown out. But best to ask a at goods in first if there is someone about, if not go skip dipping.

Yeah I've got some at work from paper deliveries but the price is crazy. I frequently send similar weight parcels to the states for less than to Finland. Madness

I sent an AYC dif inside an old alloy wheel last month. The price was around what you have been quoted.
