His auction states that it is "converted to open diff", yet there are 3 AYC bars? Perhaps the photo was taken prior to the conversion?

I have to say that I really like the blue backlight on the instrument cluster. I wonder what the digital display is between the speedo and tacho though? Engine bay is colour coded properly, even though the radiator cap doesn't appear to be on properly.

"retro" fitted boost gauge... interesting idea but I am failing to see how its "retro" maybe I am far to tired to see right?

Also asked what was done in the engine overhaul

Lol an engine overhaul to me would be that the engine has pretty much been rebuilt

to me a engine rebuild is not using new parts.
how ever a reconditioning of an engine is using new parts.
I bet the fresh turbo's are just the best ones he could find in his assortment of extra's. could be wrong tho.

More like 'fresh' turbos are ones that he's just painted up to look new.

I asked him for the VIN number so I can do a rego check. I asked first thing this morning. Still awaiting his answer

Subaru ETA

So apparently he "is not obligated to supply that information" (referring to the VIN number).

My response to that is -
As a registered MVT I believe you do have to supply a copy of the SIN card which will have to have the VIN number on it

Subaru ETA
24-10-2012, 10:08 AM
Lol now I have been black listed haha.

He reckon he doesn't have to supply such info, however the law states otherwise -

Consumer Information Standards (Used Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2003 state that a Supplier Information Notice (SIN) must be displayed on used motor vehicles offered or displayed for sale by a registered motor vehicle trader or persons through a car market operator. Private sales are not covered by the regulations.
The regulations require motor vehicle traders offering or displaying used motor vehicles for sale on the internet to prominently display, or provide access to, a SIN relating to that motor vehicle on the same internet web page as the offer or display for sale and the contract for sale in relation to that motor vehicle. The regulations also require the motor vehicle trader to obtain a written acknowledgment from the buyer of the vehicle that he or she has received a copy of the SIN that relates to that vehicle.

Knowing what this idiot is like, and the fact he doesn't want to supply the info which he legally has to, makes you wonder what is up with this car

Lol I got blacklisted against someone that was using an OZVR4 members car as their picture, I told them to take it down since they don't own the picture. They got pissy at me and blacklisted me lol

Those holes in the front bumper just look wrong without the proper FL flares in place.

I'm surprised that TradeMe allowed him to keep his other account.
