Just for fun, I've been thinking about this (since my insurance company would NOT be amused)...

Surely the GLS is a good prospect for a light pressure turbo, like saab and volvo use?

Would it take much modification to fit a smallish turbo, set up for 160-170bhp and to fill out the torque curve around 1700-2500rpm? Obviously the chassis and drivetrain will cope because this is no more than the V6, although I am aware that the brakes on the V6 are slightly bigger.

Has anyone done it?

Interesting... that will teach me to search!

Expensive though... as in twice what my car is worth...
