Hi all,
Just a quick question about boost gauges and the like.

I've searched the forums and haven't found any threads which say which is the best place to take off a feed to a boost gauge (electrical or mechanical).

Looking at the diagrams for the AVC-R installation (the whole turbo system is shown), the best place seems to be just before the thottle bodies (the pressure 'side' of the wastegate solenoid), or taken off the surge tank.

Question is, where can a feed be taken off, and where have people fitted theirs?

Thanks for your time.

Use the point listed in the AVCR install diagrams.
Keep the hose short, and use plenty of cable-ties.
That will see you right. ;)

Thanks for that, I will put it in between the plenum and the fuel pressure solenoid. I shall use copious amounts of zip ties.
