I've been rather busy and haven't really had a chance to keep an eye on the site and haven't seen anyone in ages.
Was just wondering if anyone is interested on a quick catch up before xmas rolls around?

I think if that was to happen there needs to be at least 6 months notice.
My issue was always the kids were too young and needed to help the wife with them.
The kids are now old enough for her to manage by herself so I am keen for a Big Meet, my only issue is money.
But as I said, 6 months notice should be enough to save up petrol, food and possibly accommodation money for one day/one night.

I'm noob to this forum but would be keen on a big old meet and greet. We have regular meets on the bike forums so would be cool to do the same with the car, see who's done what mods to their cars etc

I'll try to save but weather permitting and if I still own my vr4 then lol. be interesting to show up at a vr4 event in a rx8 :P

How many people would stay in Taupo for the night? Cause one thing we could if people wanted to stay could put money in and get a hoilday house(around $200-$300 for a night) Could do bbq and beers?

I'm keen to put something together if we can get numbers.

Let's all be honest here, what we really have to save up for is the fuel bill to attend said event, I love my legnum, but it loves my money! haha!

Taupo would be sweet a good middle ground in the Island and a few cool places to park up and get some pics

What ideas do people have? Want to do?

One idea is that, People who would to stay in Taupo for a night is to all put money together and rent out a holiday house (should be around $300 for the night) have a bbq and few beers that night and going off for a drive somewhere and having a photoshoot.

Any idea of a date? People saying at least 6 months from now, I'm thiniging Apirl/May, Should give people heaps of time to save for it.

So who keen? And put your idea forward please

I have been looking at hoilday house, Ones I have taken note of have parking around back of the house so cars will be save and can sleep from 10 to 14 people.

So got one around $300 and got 6 people in = around $50 per person,

Ahhh with baby due in 2 weeks I think it's going to be a long while till I can have a weekend pass! (I have managed to get one in April for the v8's)

With Xmas still to come a June meet would suit me better, everyone will just need to say when they would be keen.
If this goes ahead, I am definitely in. One night stay, BBQ w/ beers, then a cruise the next day or see if there what activities there are (i.e. go karts?).
