Got a worn out valve that is fluttering, haven't taken it off the car yet as it is now a daily driver so just wondering if anyone knows if a 34mm recirculating valve will be a direct replacement?
Cheers Dom

Is there any Rhyme or reason to when they change the size? otherwise I will get take it off and take a look in the week. I have a 2000 FL VR4 Legnum with manual transmission.

Not that I know of? As you said just take it of & measure the inside diameter

Nick said a lot of guys are using the EVO X Valve, if it fits that may be a good plan although I have no idea how much it costs out here, will be interesting to find out tomorrow.
I see lots of cheap and cheerful valves on ebay but I suspect there is no tolerance or spec for any pressure/leaks etc.

I have an HKS SSQVII if tnat helps you make any decisions on replacements.
I didn't fit it myself though, so I don't know how easy it is to do. Can't imagine it being particularly difficult.
