Ralliart no longer has a presence in NZ.

Neil Allport was the ralliart dealer, but last time I saw him we was only clearing out what stock he had left, as mitsu has pulled the plug on Ralliart in nz.

Get to know someone at a local BNT and get a gates belt and the rest of the kit.

Bill (and the ralliart name) only moved elsewhere, it is still alive and well. Neil might tell you differently, but the email above should be sufficient to convince you otherwise.

D, $1200 with parts and labor isnt bad at all....

Bill @ Ralliart would be the cheapest to get genuine parts from. His email is in Kenneth's post above. Just send him you chassis number as well.

$1200 is what I was quoted at a few places for tensioners, Gates belts, water pump and oil seals. It's about the price you would expect to pay for a mechanic to do it, unless you are so inclined to change it yourself.

If needed I have a cambelt kit sitting here in my garage that I dont forsee myself needing any time soon.
everything is there
Genuine Mistu cambelt

hey mate i got my cambelt and everything done from my mechanic. he charged me $640 all up. beaware of people overcharging you as i had a guy quoting me $1000. really expensive that is. nd i got the gates cambelt, waterpump, tensioner, all seals. i found this was reasonble rather than paying over twice as much. it also depends where you are. im in manukau and i knew this garage that quoted me $600 in takanini including part and labour. and plus its a huge job to be honest, mine took two days

Have you tried Camskill? I'm sure that they have shipped overseas before but I don't remember which country. I think I have a cambelt kit on the shelf at the moment, let me know if you get stuck.

I sent camskill a message seeing if they can ship to Canada but it says right when you go to check out that they won't...

I'm also still awaiting a email response from bill.
Nothing back yet.

Looks like the kit will be 390nzd

Cambelt kit $390
MD168055 crank seal
MD179597 idler pulley
MD308593 hydraulic tensioner
MD316826 tensioner pulley
MD318814 timing belt
MD372536 cam seals x 4

Is this worth it?
And I still should get a water pump

Do I need to do all the seals if it only has 93k on it?

Do the seals and water pump, If you don't do the seals or the water pump and they start leaking, You will have to take every thing off again to do them and just going to cost you alot more money and time.

thats a good price.
get the waterpump too, and definatly get the seals. its alot of labour to remove the cambelt etc to change the seals if they do start to leak. a problem you can avoid by changing them now for the cost of whats probably less than $50NZD
