Thank you to the member who put a note under my wiper about this site. It's great.

I first drove a VR-4 about five years ago. It was the Autocar feature vehicle, and they had borrowed it from Brian Welch at Briwel in Ripley, near Guildford. I live very near, so popped in for a spin. Awesome!

I then did something very strange. I chopped my Granada Cosworth in for an M-B A160! After a year or so I recognised the error of my ways. So in August 2000 I got my Legnum VR-4. Its a mauve auto, and it had 11,000 miles recorded.

I got it from VBJ, who I must rate as absolutely first class.

At the first service it went to Briwel, who put oblong number plates on, got rid of the Halfords rear fog light and wired it as per the UK car.

I would highly recommend Briwel. They were, at one time, looking after about five VR-4's and they know their stuff. Brian can get parts almost overnight from Japan, and is incredibly knowledgable about VR-4's. They are very close to M25 J10.

All the best
