I have made my self a set of bi-xenon lights.

I tried to fit them today, but had a problem. The side where the bi-xenon is fitted didn't want to work.

A thought I've had is that the light set has a 3 pin plug to connect to the car loom, our cars only has 2 connectors for the dip side.

I could be wrong here, but this what I think is the problem.
How or what do I need to do, or indeed where to connect this 3rd pin? If indeed this is the problem.

I have a normal hid set up for the Hi-beam (not bi-xenon) So If I run a wire from the 3rd pin over to 1 of the main beam pins, would that sort the problem?

Do some pictures of your wiring loom.
There are few different setups on the market now, and I need to know what loom you do try to connect.
In general, any bi-xenon setup needs feeds from low and high beam for switching diaphragm purposes.

OK.
First, you have a "wrong" wiring loom :)
This one you got is designed for vehicles running H4 bulbs as stock one. Our vr4 are running with separate high and low beam lights, H1 and H7 bulbs. For that reason we have separate feed for both beams.
H4 bulb has one 3-way connector for both beam purposes.
No wonder why it didn't work.

Now, I need to search for "right" loom for you or at least adapter, sir... :)

OK, there is no specific adapter for you, and full harness for H7 bixenons are quite pricey, hence my solution:

You need to make your own adapter.
That should look like this one (just made myself :) ):
60675

Wiring is as follows:
- top white wire > positive +12V feed for low beam
- right blue wire > positive +12V feed for high beam
- left double black wire > common ground
Here is wiring diagram of H4 connectors:
60676

Once you make your adapter you need to separate feeds for both beams:

Each end you should finish with connector plug like this one:

Or splice accordingly to existing wiring loom.

Right, thanks for your great help so far. My thought is, see if I can take out the spade connetors from h4 plug for the hi and low beam, put the spade for the low into the hi beam hole (as to make it as h7), split the common and take the hi and 1 common over to the h1 side(full beam) and splice in there.

That sound about right?

Whatever is working Colin. You got the idea, so now time to put it in practice :)

A good start. Changed the pins on loom, and took out a light for a quick play. Seems we have some life. Well at mo, low beam only on outside along side the hi beam on inside. Thanks Tomasz, without your help here I wouldn't be this far yet.

8gs run a switched earth so depending on how your projectors are set up you may need an extra relay for it all to work correctly...

Right, so my understanding of that is, the ground from the h4 connector (on hid loom) goes to the + and the hi-beam wire connects to the -
