front fog lights

is there any known lens that can replace the stock glass? i did a little trial tonight and as suspected, the front fogs are of absolutely no use whatsoever due to the design of the glass which spreads the light sideways instead of forward so you cant see the light on the road at all. they are effectively just for show but i would like them to be of some practical use for those occasions when it is foggy. do we know of any replacement lenses which are a better design?

Remember the FL fog lights have the turning lights on them & why they are going sideways.

Just heat up some thin acrylic & bond it on. Perspex will crack but you should be ok with acrylic & cutting it to size after
