am i right in thinking that my PFL VR4 has a 2.5 inch exhaust....was thinking of de-catting the old girl...

Yes 2.5" decat will do the job but I think stock size is 2.25".

Might as well put in a 3" -------just in case.

Yeah good idea if plunning downpipes and catback system upgrade to 3" in the future.
