imported by mitsubishi/ralliart. :3d:

and NOT grey import.

Ive noticed some people with the super VR4 have a special number for their car.. was wondering if i do too /Devil5

North America and Europe were again denied this model, but the burgeoning grey import trade meant that it developed a cult following in several overseas territories, especially the United Kingdom and New Zealand. In 2000 MMC's motorsport partner Ralliart was contracted to type-approve Galants and Lancers for UK sales, and 200 VR-4s were officially imported before production finally ceased two years later.

No legnums, only facelift galants. Ryan's one is NZ new and the previous owner (former club member) purchased it brand new from the dealer

More then 10. At one point there were at least 3 on trade me at the beginning of the year!

Ryan's is a manual Nz new car, which is extremely rear.

They were a $70k odd car when new!

Ah but the auto was stupidly good for Auckland traffic lol

But driving a manual again is sooooo much better haha

I guess it coz the super was the "throw everything at it to show off what we can do" model, and at the time the tip tronic box was pretty flash

yeah makes a bit of sense. Mitsu must have known auto=/= sporty as all of the evos up to the 6 only came manual. and the GTA evo 7 was well after the super legnum/galant's

Had my clutch replaced this week - heh, managed to get 30 000km out of what was always a suspect clutch before it failed on Monday - went for 3rd, it engaged (right revs) but "waaap waaah", clutch pedal on floor. Mercifully traffic home was uncharacteristically light for a Monday and limped home.

Ahhh - new clutch goodness, nothing spectacular an XTREME HD but it's nice to no longer have a "?" above how long the clutch is expected to last.
