i dont suppose its the kind of thing i would expect anyone here to fit to a VR4 but just in case, these might help you decide on whether to have them or not

i have had neons inside a couple of my cars and i have always been in 2 minds about the legnum. that bmw looks awful with the LEDs visible in the wheels arches. they really need to be located properly to show a glow but not the source of the glow. we are lucky with decent depth sideskirts so we could hide them but i think i will be giving it a miss. i do have LED sidelights though and number plate lights (although i cant get the screws out to fit them) plus all of my interior lights are LEDs. they are all direct replacements though and white so no legal questions over them depending on how you ook at them. from the front they look bright white, from an angle they look blue which i am assuming is due to the headlight bulbs being blue glass but a white light

i do have LED sidelights though

How'd you get LED sidelights to work on your headlights?

Every time I buy LED sidelights, they don't work at all! :(

i think its pot luck. they work on the VR4 lights but only the passenger side worked on the V6 and only the drivers side on my mates V6. i believe its a question of polarity but i dont know how to reverse it. i did have an electrician ready to do the job but i got lucky and didnt need him for that

I too have no idea about polarity reversing! lol.

I'll have to have a gander when my front end gets stripped down.

But if they have already been connected the wrong way, they could be fooked.
With a single LED you can tell the positive from the negative side by the length of the Cathode and Anode. The longer of the 2 is the Cathode(positive side)

the ones i got are capless quads like this but dual voltage. i found them at a truckstop and wound up with 3 sets when 1 didnt work. i figured faulty batch so i picked up a new set and a spare since i very rarely get that from home (lymm)
