Hi
Can anyone tell me if the wind deflectors make a big difference to the wind noise, once up to Speed on the Galant.
I drove the car from Berlin to Ticehurst (East Sussex) the other week, my first proper Autobahn journey since buying the car, love the way it drives and handles (2.5 v6 Sport), just that wind noise could do with taming down.

I have to say I did abuse it from Berlin to Calaise 7.5 hrs , and according to the sat nav toped out at 139 mph untill a People carrier Driver decided he was not moving over, but that was pretty much it for the Galant anyway, and yes I did say People carrier, Ford I think.

Tried to upload some photos of the car, but it keeps saying not supported when I try uploading (from iphone), works ok when I use Pictures from my old Sony that have been downloaded ????

Anyway, on route back to Berlin from Calaise 65mph returned just over 35mp (must Change them plugs):

Hi Ernie,

I've found that the original Mitsubishi ones help at reducing high speeds, whereas aftermarket (that slide inside the rubber guides where the window slides in/out) do not offer this advantage. However, the 6mm silicone/plastic hose/tubing insert-modification inside the rubber moulding for the doors have had even better succes at helping reducing wind noise at high speed. See (convienently in German) the original site where I first dicovered it:

I might have posted something about this mod on ClubVR4 too, and for sure on the dutch Galantfans.nl forums, but I guess the german site is best for you :)
