1 turbo probably broken, what now?

Ho, ive been reading a lot.
I think my front turbo is dieing and wont hold much longer, (i think i hear the turbine scrap)

There are a lot of topics about turbo's and i read alot but allmoste all ends in nothing usefull.

Is there any bolt on upgraded turbo available?
Or should i just buy an other stock one?

A bit upgraded would be lovely

There is no bolt on upgrade.

You can pay a fortune for reworked turbos but they are an unknown quantity, both in performance gain and life. I bought a VR4 many years ago that had reworked turbos - I believe they had been clipped to flow a bit more. They gave slightly better top end boost but died in less than 30 thousand miles.

At the moment your choices are a very expensive custom upgrade, an expensive turbo rework or replace with standard items.
