Hi Marco,

There are no upgraded performance chips for our cars. However remaping is possible, depending on what version of the ecu you have.

Remapping is tuning the car to the mods that you have. You would need a 7202 or 7203 ecu, which usually come in the 98+ cars, but early 98 can be hit and miss.

You can eliminate the speed cut without a remap or aftermarket ECU. Do a search to find out how

tbh there is no reason to cut the speed limiter in nz, anything 40kph over the posted speed limit is gonna hurt you really bad both fines and dl wise.

Just run an aftermarket sensor on the top hose like everyone else. :)

You won't hit 180kph on the quarter mile without extensive mods, so there's no point in removing the cut unless you race on the track.

You have to buy an aftermarket gauge with a sender, and a water temp adapter that goes in the top hose that the sender bolts into.

My fastest drag time with my old leggie was 14.496 @ 96mph... So unless you get over 195kmh you wont have an issue with the speed cut.

just remeber to fit a chassis ground wire to the hose adaptor that the sensor screws into, othwise the gauage does not work.

as for fitting it, cut the hose, fit the hose adaptor, wire it up, job done.
