D, technically the old one can be reused. However a replacement will help stop any leaks if there are issues with the old one.

will do the change and replace manifold gasket too, not too expensive from BNT :)

SPARKPLUGS changed today, front bank reasonably worn but back bank was completely down to the ceramic base, No wonder my engine was missing under load :(

Awesome... Did it take you very long? Doing mine in next few weeks before the my dyno run :)

Have you got your evo rims yet?

It can take up to an hour the first time, but subsequent changes are much quicker. As an example I did a spark plug lead change in under 30 minutes the other day - changing the plugs themselves would have taken another 5-10 minutes tops.
Most of the time is actually unbolting the intake piping and moving it out of the way, and then making sure you don't get the throttle cable on the wrong side when reassembling.

Is best to change the leads at the same time? Also doing manifold gasket aswell.
Will have my mate helping me do it.

If you don't know the condition of the leads and you have a spare set then yes do them as it's no extra work. Make sure you don't mess up the firing order - change them one at a time!

Also don't buy the leads from Super Cheap or Repco unless you have a friend working there, they are several hundred dollars more than elsewhere.

Got a mate who has trade accounts at repco part master ect so should be sweet with getting parts cheaper :-)

Also what the best band of leads to buy?

Any of them that are the sports ones are better as they have a thicker core and carry the current better. Leads from certain pajeros also fit but they are a bit longer, so you have to route them out of the way.

That's an interesting picture. The rear bank has worn the centre electrode more than the ground electrode and the front is the opposite.

I think that the front set might have been replaced recently by the look of them... ;)
