As stated above, I have a weeping shock on the rear left of my legnum.
I've attached two pics showing the type, though there is no makers stamp obvious to me.
Any help in locating a replacement will be greatly appreciated.

Just got the coilover off the car and steam cleaned. Turns out its a Bilstien 639 0198 h003
Now the search is on. I've googled the number but nothing comes up.
Thanks for that Mark, I'll call him mon morning.

Ebay throws up this company, but they dont actually mention the legnum VR4, in their long list of galant applications.

Thanks Mark, but I need height adjustable as my car is quite low, as you can see from my other recent thread.

Tommie, why not contact Bilstein main dealer in UK and ask for a restauration?

I once spoke with Bilstein Germany about parts for our cars and why they are not available here. They mentioned that Bilstein Japan is a separate company and that they are not able to get that stuff to Europe.

So I basically doubt that you will get a replacement for the shock absorber but they can possibly replace the parts needed. Good luck!

Im with Stefan. All the Bilsteins are rebuildable so you will be able to get it sorted.

I know its about $1000nzd to get a full set of Teins/Bilsteins rebuilt over here.

This is turning into a bit of a saga, I spoke to the guy above and he repairs all types except Bilstein.
I've checked with the bilstein agent in Ireland and they cant help (not interested really).
