I have some but they are now quite old & they are now so cheap new I would personally pay the extra so at least you're covered for 12 months. If you get stuck, give me a shout but for £20 or so from ebay you will then have some spare bulbs aswell :)

Something like item 161088765921

Just be aware that if you change your high beam, you can only flash once due to warm up time

Looks like they should do the trick. Might be worth just checking with Csaba for confirmation

Hi Nigel,

how about these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Replacement-Canbus-Free-12v-35w-HID-Ballast-No-OBC-errors-/221158164538?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item337e0dc83a

If you have the old headlights from Ralliart1 (Csaba) with projector units the bulb will be built in. So you just need the ballast units which are universal units.

I hope you have got the wiring harness for the high beam function?

Nigel, 6000K is only the bulb color. This has nothing to do with the ballast itself. ;)

Just some advice, better buy best value for money HID Ballast, you have to buy the HID ballast with Asic chipset inside like this http://www.hyluxtek.com/newEbiz1/EbizPortalFG/portal/html/index.html a bit pricey but price does matter. experience is a best teacher and is expensive :(. As for my HID system, I use CIBIE headlamp and Quad HID with 2 X Bellof Spec Le Mans HID system, already cost me more than $2000 USD. http://www.nengun.com/bellof/spec-le-mans . Very expensive for me, but you cant go wrong with this system. Just awesome.

Nigel, no fear mate. You can start with a set of HID ballast first, as you will have high beam function through the solenoids in the projector units. So go and get any set off ebay and start from there. Make sure you have a ballast with e-mark to avoid nasty whining noise through faulty electronic. I have a cheap set installed since 5 years now - without any issues. GO FOR IT MAN!
