Hi All,
OK just received the secondhand HKS lowering springs that I bought from Neil1985 on here.

As I have some aftermarket shocks to build them up onto before I take my old standard shocks and springs off the car I was wondering if anyone on here knows how to identify which springs are front and which are rear. They look very similar to me at the moment.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Cheers,
Ian

Rear shocks have hole at the bottom, frond springs are thicker than rear.

Rears looks exact like that http://www.camskill.co.uk/m22b0s1404p7718/KAYABA_34_SERIES_KYB_EXCEL-G_GAS_SHOCK_ABSORBER_-_KYB_Standard_Rear_Shocks_-_Pair_Legnum_EC5W_and_Galant_VR4_EC5A

Cool cheers. That also makes the front springs slightly shorter in length as well then.

Hi Neil,
Sorry not been on here for ages.

Yes got them fine thanks. Only now getting round to putting them on my tanabe shocks that I picked up secondhand. Then I can start to think about fitting them to the car once I have my Discovery trough its MOT.

Hi niel

I'm having issues with the springs. See my other post in this suspension thread

Not sure how you want to proceed but it looks like I don't have a full set
