Does anyone else one of these or know of these, basically my question is, if I was to remove one, or even both of the silencers would there be a noticeable diffference in sound, more grunt etc.
Do want to change anything if it isn't even going to make a difference.

Just found this but not sure if it would make any difference on a vr4

the second pic is not fujitsubo, its a replica/lookalike build

first pic... Fujisubo Legalis Super R, its top-o-the-line
leave it as it is.

it will get louder, but thats all you'll achieve beside devaluing it by cutting it up.

if you want more noise, best to make another bolt on rear muffler section, and put the original in dry storage

See, I told you not to mess with it - you won't get a better exhaust for the VR4 than this.

Hi,

Depends what you mean by "grunt".
Do you mean Louder?

I have a bespoke system with two large Cherry-Bombs in the centre. Makes quite a nice purposeful noise without being too loud, especially when under-load.

Yer more powerful sounding, more rumble. Mine just seems very quite for the size of the tail pipe.

Suggestions on rear sections then, any for sale? If I was to keep mine or Even sell it is need it replaced, if I take this off I have a centre pipe already so just need a back box.

unbolt the rear muffler section, start her up, it sounds great IMO, just not everyday

if you like the volume, just get a 3" pipe made up to go from there to the bumper,
if its too loud, just a cheap cannon style muffler on the rear.

dont cut up any of the original system.

Im rocking this at the moment, it is awesome haha but sick of the drone at 100km, and music loud enough to drown it out just doesn't cut it anymore so will be bolting it back up lol

What have u done the same? To be honest one of the centre silencers has started to degrade so wouldn't be long before it's replaced anyway

I have the Fujitsuwotsit exhaust and LOVE it! It sounds super sweet, and has a nice low rumble, but on open throttle it screams! As other have said, dont cut it up!

Drone? You ain't heard drone till you hear mine. Last time I went on a cruise the people following me mentioned that it was loud after we stopped (and that was in a 50km/h zone).

I seem to recall that some of the earlier Fujitsubos weren't stainless steel all the way through. As said though, might just need cleaning up!

Nope Defo flaking in centre section, reat box polishes up a treat, but middle looks older but as just mentioned May not be staneless.

I can't recall where I saw the other Fujitsubo I was referring to now (it was on here somewhere, IIRC), but that was also only stainless for the back box and tail pipe.

As Nev says, they did come optionally in mild steel with a stainless backbox. Seen one in the flesh from a car which Nutter John broke.

Must be what mine is then, so I won't have much choice soon anyway to change the mid section.
