It's a normal galant but with a tiptronic box; the car that Kieran built, sold on and vanished into thin air....

40,000 miles later and this is where it's at. It belongs to my ex and she is still driving it. Don't really want her to drag it to any place if a forum member can have a look at it and maybe take on a job.

Inbox me please if you can help or can recommend someone.

Thank you in advance,

Jamil

hi jamil,
it is all making sense now.
i got a phone call from your ex, i did not know who it was, when she said what i now know to be "it is jamil's wife", i could not make out your name, and i have not got round to repling to it yet.
i can pop round and take a look, but i don't fancey pulling an auto box out at the moment, i am still recovering from a and ACL knee op at the moment, so i can't do kneeling down or crouching properly for another 3-4 months until i have finished my physio.

will give her a ring back and work something out with regard to having a look at it.

It is the car i replaced the radiator on in your driveway isn't it.

Think she missed the ex bit out...It is the same car but she moved down the road to another place.

Wow you sound out of it. Just reading it is making me wince with pain. Hope the physio or just anything will get you back up and running.

Give her a call if you can please and she will explain what's going on. If it is a gearbox replacement then that is going to be a problem. Half hoping it's a loose filter or something.

It probably is though Keiran was quite anal about stuff and maybe sorted that before he put the box in. Who knows?
