Right so today was a rainy day and rather than stay in the warm I decided to get myself wet. The results however I am happy with:

Now I realise I didnt actually say what I had done lol. Basically I had a friend acid dip, sand blast and paint my front rocker cover (one from a 3000gt) and my intake plenums. Had the rocker cover done red and the plenums done black. I think they look good, alot better than before!
A few things that are different from the standard rocker cover one being no mounting points for the IFS switch so I will have to secure that somewhere else and a couple other things but no majors.
Hope you enjoy the pics. If not I will get some more when she is dry lol

Cheers Tomasz, it looks better in the flesh and if you look at the dyno at 10:20 tomorrow you shall see it ;)
Think I need to paint the heat-shield and fuel rail now though as they stand out and ruin it lol

Cheers Alex, although the only bit I can take credit for is the swapping of the parts lol. I had a friend square away the smoothing and painting haha. Oh yeah and I havent even tested that it works yet either lmao.
Well I started her up and she idles fine so must be good! I'll find out on the drive over to Area 52 tomorrow if theres any issue lol

I let it go on the last vr I had however watch this space a story is unfolding as I write this ;)
paint my front rocker cover (one from a 3000gt)
surely you mean FTO
that looks nothing like a 3000gt cover let alone the fact the 6g motor is 180degrees different to our 6a
my 6a FTO conversion

a 3000gt
