Hi all,

as expected ive been trailing the internet all day trying to source a set of the super legnum side skirts, front canards and rear spats in real or copy form...is there a supplier of these that has made copies, possible in the Uk or even anywere for that matter at a semi reasonable price,

going from my unsuccessful attempt to track some down ,i know its a long shot...jesus I love the legnum, but they are a complete bulltrocks to find parts for :)

I'm sure if you wanted them to be reproduced MagicAreo is the person who could probs clone them for the club if a couple of members really wanted it. He does clones of the 200sx's and 180sx's bumpers and all! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Magic-Aero/275202399167643 :D

will send him a message to see if has done them before or what the prices are....the only thing being obviously is to get someone willing to use their kit for the moulds

With the front canards how are they attached on the genuine ones, i have a set of replicas and was wondering how to attach them once i've fixed them.

Cheers

Some body parts available here http://usa.auto-style.jp/?pkey=parts_free_word&id=&page=1&max=20&free_text=legnum&limit_car[]=5421&car_url=ec5w

Bit pricey though.

Found this too http://m.sspbodykits.com/site/classic?url=http://www.sspbodykits.com&back=http%3A%2F%2Fm.sspbodykits.com%2Fsite%2Fwebs_ 112340783%3Furl%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.sspbodykits.com

It's in the boot the clip is broken just figuring out weather to fix it on or use it as an air scoop ;-) /Camera

so any other suggestions as this is getting frustrating now...as ive said I really like the Legnum but if its one thing that will make me sell this car on ,it will be for the lack of parts/upgrades available that I can get me hands on,jees its even a nitemare trying to source +30mm springs

IIRC, club members have tried to contact aerotech without much joy.

Wide ranges of body mods aren't readily available for our cars. Certainly not to the extent of an Evo or Skyline for example.

The only real source of "add-ons" I have come across were available from a member on here called Peter M who could do them to order, but he has been absent for quite a while now. Many of us have tried to contact him, but had no luck.
I recently tried to get hold of him to ask if he would part with his body moulds, so I could put some of these parts back into production, but I am yet to hear anything back.

I have considered taking moulds from the few extras that I have managed to obtain such as Canards, Carbon bonnet, Rear skirt and possibly side skirts but at the moment I don't have the time or money to follow it through due to the moulding process being a large integral part.
I have currently started moulding a set of wings to follow through to Carbon Fibre, but it's gone on the "back-burner" untill the new year.

There are the few options to consider from NZ and USA, but you may find those costly and obviously due to the postage distance will take a while.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I got mine from a group buy that AncientOfMu organised a few years ago from, I think, Japan. It included bonnets, skirts canards etc and was quite substantial. I don't know which company he bought from but he comes on here sometimes.

Aerotech don't like to deal with over seas customers. However, SpeedFactory get their parts from Japan, so they could probably arrange to send direct from there.
