Geo-fencing control - When the vehicle moves in/out the preset scope, it will send an SMS alarm to the authorized phone numbers.
Movement and Speed Alert: The tracker can warm you with SMS message when the vehicle starts to move from a stationary status, or when the vehicle is moving faster than a preset speed.
Stop the Engine: You can send an SMS message to the tracker to cut off the gas and battery power, so the engine will remain in an immobilized stated until your remove the alarm status.

Do they have an option to report to a website, so you can see where the car is and has been?

He did say when it replays with a text message it tell you what the location is along with link to Google maps. But I will find out if it does or not

you can use an old mobile phone to track you car as well,
just conseal it in the car, ensure it is changing and the credit is not one of those tha runs out after 3 months, log the phone number with a web site for a subscription fee of course and you can crack you car, it uses the same technology as the police use to track your kids if thy go missing and have a mobie phone on them. as long as there is mobile phone signal you can track it. the more mobile phone masts in the area the better the resolution of the tracking.

It will not be as accurae as full GPS tracking but you get what you pay for. the GPS tracker above does look good and as long there is no website subsription then it looks good.

here is a bit more info on them for the UK Based people.

@scott.mohekey

He said

When you get the text it has a link to a image of a map and where the unit/car is, you can set it to text you every XX seconds and plot out where its been, and i think you can live track it online too but i never used that function as it required a stactic IP address.

I'm not planning anything, My mate is bringing them in and that the price I was told and I have paid, I was more the middle man and I WASN'T MAKING ANY MONEY OUT OF THIS.

But next time I see and hear or offer about deals or anything, I will not bother or waste my time getting CVR4 include.

I didn't read that comment as a dig at you? Somebody has found the apparently same item for half the price, supposedly.

It surely would have been more sensible to go back to your supplier for comment. There may be a good reason for the price difference - my main thought being one probably has Customs duty and VAT/Sales Tax (or equivalent) whereas the other doesn't, the latter involving the buyer taking a chance that he doesn't get stung for the additional costs.

No real need to be grumpy about it, IMO!
