Just after some info with regards this ECU, any ideas of the chipset in it and im guessing the latest ecuflash can read/write without any problems?

Any example Roms or xmls would be nice

Thanks:D

Have a search round the site, there are assorted snippets of info. I can't answer your question, but I think the answer will be on here somewhere.

If it is a plastic case ecu it is almost certainly flashable with an openport 2.0 cable and ecu flash. Metal cases are flashable but you need more expensive software.

Just searching on here for the part number it looks to be a face lift ecu which will be a plastic case, most likely a 7202 and therefore should be easily flashable.

info from ASA,
ecu is originally fitted to all models of VR4 from Aug 98 to April 99 and some models from april 99 to aug 2000, it should be a plastic case 7202 prcessor which is fashable with ecufash and open port 2.0 cable with flash extention cable.
