how hard would it be to swap a auto gear box to a manual and would to cost a lot to do ?

Approx £700 for a second hand gearbox and assorted bits from a manual donor. Approx £500 for the conversion. Then budget some more if you want a new clutch etc.

If you start with an auto that has traction control then there will be some minor irritating issues with the traction/stability systems after the conversion.

If your lucky, youll pay £500 for the gearbox n bits, add your fluids, clutch n fly wheel, techniclutch has bad rep but I have there (so called stage 1) clutch n flywheel, been a year now with out problem. If you can do the work your self that's about it. As for tcl issues, im not sure what these are, I swapped to a manual dash so dont know if I had error lights but drove fine for the couple weeks before I flashed a manual rom to it.
