No pssssshhhh from my forge splitter bov

Hi all. Good Christmas?

As title says all of a sudden I'm getting no noise from my bov. I removed it checked for water in it (as I drove through a fairly deep puddle) was damp. Dried it out,regressed it but still nothing. Could I have a vac leak or something?

Where should I be looking?

does sound like a vac leak, if there is even a small leak the hose will be collapsing when on boost thus no bov sound. check the lines

Thought as much. Are there any pipe that are common to split?

I'm thinking it could be the tiny pipe that goes into the bottom of the bov as i did stretch it to get it to fit.

Yes, or the flexi bit near the radiator fan hedgehog or on the back of the intake plenum.

I noticed my vac pipe to bov was split when I changed mine
