input shaft help

Rite guys trying to remove the input shaft but I removed the bolts from the transfer box first and now the shaft will not come otut at all any one got any ideas

Slide hammer will still get it free, just make sure there is something under the transferbox

Bolt the transfer case back up, then remove it. The weight of the transfer case won't allow the shaft to come out unless those bolts are in.

What both them said. Put the Tx case bolts (or at least a couple of them) back in, screw your slide hammer adaptor into the end of the input shaft and slide/hammer away.
Will have a bit of resistance but then should just pop out.
