Hi guys

I have stripped down the car ready to fit hubs/brakes and a abs sensor (attached to a hub carrier)

Now I have found the drivers side rear abs ring has broken and fingers crossed this is the reason for the abs fault so no need to fit the hub carrier (for now)

My question is I also have a funky ayc issue/challenge!
I have no ayc red light on and all green lights come on at ignition
When driving I get no green lights and no red light

Is it possible the AYC reads from the abs wheel speed sensor?

Any help appreciated

Cheers
Paul

Yup i do believe the AYC is takes its readings from the rear ABS sensors.
A change of the ring should see the ayc acting normaly. However......no red light on start up would suggest to me that the bulb has been disconnected.

Check that bulb before proceeding as already said

agree with above check the AYC bulb is present and working before you do anything with the hubs.

simple dash clocks out job, and check the rear of the dash, it should be obvious where the bulb is.

Cheers guys I had the clocks out bulb in place so changed it for the seatbelt light (I know that's a good one? )
Again no red light on key turn still the same all green bars light!

I'm gonna get the old bird back together and sort the undrseal then see what happens when I get her out on the road in a couple of weeks !

Will update when I completed rebuild
