Hi Everyone

I love Galants sexy as hell, I have never owned one but finally my dream is coming true I have enough money to purchase one. I have zero car skills so what I'd like to know is are these cars good sound cars? when viewing the car should i take it for inspection at a mechanic to make sure its in good condition?
any known problems in the Galant VR4 1996 model? car im looking at is auto 5 speed has the touchscreen that control the aircon aftermarket radio, looks nice and neat, car looks like its been taken care of, has leather interior.

are these cars good for first time turbo drivers?

sorry if i sound silly but I'd really like your advise or opinion on these models so that i may make my purchase with confidence knowing that you as vr4 owners have shown me the way :)

Service history. Unmodified the cars are pretty sound. With an auto check that the gearbox changes gear nice and smoothly.

Renewing Cambelt @10000 /20000 ks is a lot off money when
getting someone to do the work . Getting one that not long been done

Yes, they are good safe cars to drive for the less experienced, but obviously you can still exceed the limits of physics in just about anything!
