Very Good Condition

Have done a couple of small repairs that were niggling me: Re-lacquered a tiny 5p size chip on one corner and filled a hole in the underside (most likely caused by the bonnet being closed on something), both of which are shown in the photos. The latter has left a barely visible raised 'ding' on the carbon side but hardly noticeable unless you look for it. It also has the odd bit of faded lacquer around the edges which is quite common with age.

This bonnet was fitted to my 8G Galant but as I'm taking it abroad I'm removing all the goodies. My standard washer jets didn't fit this bonnet so I was using universal ones off Ebay bought for less than £3 which fitted fine. This bonnet also has a metal catch whereas most are plastic or so I'm told

Buyer can collect from Swanage, Dorset. Apparenetly it will fit in a Galant (although I've never tried this!).

If you can confirm that it will fit a 2.0 galant from 99, and you can wait a short while, it a big possibility that I will have it mate

It came off a PFL Legnum and I had it fitted to my FL Galant. The standard bonnet on my 52 reg Galant has a bulge in the middle whereas this does not so I assume that's the only difference? Someone else may be able to confirm this.

Exactly which shape it is can change but all 96-02 galants and legnums have interchangeable bonnets.

No worries mate, it's yours if I still have it but really need to get rid as moving abroad shortly.
