Aero catch bonnet pins - Assistance required

I have some aero catch bonnet pins to fit to my gf bonnet. TBH I am extremely wary of doing this plus not having a huge amount of time on my hands. Is their anybody offering their services to ft them for me , I don't mind paying ?

It's really very easy.... even I managed it !!

mount the pins to the slam panel. put a marker on the top of them [ paint, lipstick whatever !! ] lower the bonnet..... spot the marks... drill . sorted :)

Think the areo ones need cut out in bonnet for catches to sit in

Yeah, do as SGHOM said, then should have a card template with them. Line up with hole, mark then cut. Scary I know, I had to cut a carbon bonnet.

Gavin, you do need to
- locate 2 holes in a slam panel. They are factory made ones next to each side headlights.
- fit there 2 pins provided securing them with 2 bolts (1 locking fron underneath panel, 1 on top).
- mark top of the pins with some paint of marker
- gently try to close bonnet to touch the pins
- you'll get paint mark underneath bonnet
- drill the hole that your securing pin eyelet top can get thru
- position provided template from Aerocatch on the top of bonnet (align hole in your template with drilled hole)
- draw pencil line along contour of template
- cut out hole along drawing
- now you can position Aerocatch latch and flush one in
- secure with provided selftapping screws, or other way
- now you can adjust height of pin (so sliding locking pin can slide through eyelet)

It's gazillion times "open-rise-lower-down- rise-up-lower-down" operation, unfortunately.
