Hello,
I've just had a look under the car after driving it and noticing a whine and can see that the transfer case drain plug has gone, as has all the oil that was in there!

Any ideas on its thread size etc just so I can fill it up and fingers crossed no damage has been done. Mitsubishi can't get the part in time, and I've got a slot booked on a rolling road that I've already paid for too!

Try www.Camskill.co.uk or www.Part-box.com. They may be able to source correct part on next day delivery?

Only info I can find is its a magnetic size 18.

hope this helps.

I've been looking around and I've found out its M18 x 1.5 pitch, the same as alot of other sump plugs so I shall try and phone around the local shops tomorrow and try and fix it for now, and see if the transfer box is dead after being run dry.

Are you sure not a M16 (spanner size 24)?
Anyway, not sure so maybe you right. I remember only that it was 24mm socket I had to use.
