Brake switch

After a brake peddle switch asap.

I'm assuming it's this, as all I've done in put a earthing kit on, this is when I noticed the brake lights where staying on, so moved an earth cable from where it was, and thought was ok, drove to work, stayed on again. Disconnected switch, left over night, played with earthing kit again, checked fuses. now they won't come on. When they do, they come on with out peddle being pressed, when press peddle they go out.

Help, advice or part please.

Think I may have breathed some life into the old 1. Squirted wd40 down the end and repeatedly pressed the tip, eventually it came out further than what it was before. And the brake lights seem to behaving themselves at the moment.
