I like my plx. There are often pros and cons, what do you want to do with it? Obviously monitor afr but anything else?

i am on the cheapest side of what can spend on a wideband.

I have Innovate MTX-L, which works great. About £115-£120 delivered ups international .

After talking to Nick last night (and having his MAP-ECU2 from him), I've just purchased a PLX SM-AFR. I decided to not go for anything with a gauge, as I will be plugging it into the MAP-ECU, which will then allow me to see the AFR via the MAP-CAL software, and I can then either use the emulated narrow-band output on the SM-AFR, or from the MAP-ECU into the stock ECU.

If I wanted to only monitor/log it, then I would have purchased something with a screen or a datalogger.

That is the beauty of the MTX-L you can log it with evoscan and overlay all the graphs of the other data you arelooking at. plus you can add a boost/vac sensor and connectit to the ECU spare lamda input and log that as well so you have AFR and boost. plus eveo scan when setup with the correct perameters for the car, can do basic power figures.

but i can't really be bothered with that. i just keep an eye on the AFR after making changes, to make sure i have not done anything badly wrong.

is it possible to datalog AFR on evoscan using an AEM wideband using the spare 0 -5V input in the ecu?

yes if you connect the wideband out put to the ECU, and log the correct event in evoscan. you do not have to setup the wideband input into evoscan if you do this.
the other way is to log the wideband via a usb port acting as a com port. and setting up the wideband input in the menu at the top right of the evoscan window.

Reece, Mac @ 41.co.nz is cheaper for the LC-2's.

got myself the PLX DM-6 gauge with the AFR and EGT module. Very happy with it and I like the idea to have one gauge to display multiple functions.

You can log the functions, it has a peak warning function and a narrowband and serial output (for standalone ECU's etc.

I'll get this installed next weekend, along with the MAP-ECU2 (replacing the original MAP-ECU)

I have an Innovate MTX-L. It seems fine, but is annoying when driving at night, even on the lowest brightness.
